Magic Leap now offers Gestures, a gesture-based input methodology for performing system actions. You can use Gestures to perform tasks, such as moving or resizing an app, in place of using your Control. Use of Gestures for system functionality is optional and you can enable or disable it in Settings at anytime.
Please note that this setting is limited to use of gesture information for system functions only - even with this setting disabled, apps may still have access to gesture information while you are using them. Magic Leap recommends that you review each app provider’s privacy policy to understand what data is collected, used, and disclosed by the provider of that app.
When you enable Gestures for system functionality, your device uses depth sensor images to identify and forecast the location of key points on your hands in 3 dimensions. Algorithmic analysis is used to identify which gesture you are using based on those key point locations. Processing to enable Gestures for system functionality is done locally on your device.
